Savian Gray-Sommerville
Managing Partner
Savian Gray-Sommerville is Managing Partner of GS Litigation PLLC. Prior to founding the firm, Savian worked for The White House Transition Project, The United States Attorney’s Office, a mayor’s office, and two prominent large law firms. Savian also worked for the Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court and the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. In Savian’s vast experiences, he’s represented numerous Fortune 500 companies, oil companies, defense contractors, nonprofits, and individuals. He has represented some of the nation’s largest national and multi-national corporations and various start-up and small businesses.

Savian is a dispute resolution expert. He regularly advises clients involved in commercial, civil, and appellate litigation matters and he represents corporations under Government Investigation. Although a fierce advocate, Savian believes deeply in helping parties find true resolution. To that end, Savian offers clients Alternative Dispute Resolution services and preventative General Counsel Packages.

Savian graduated from The University of North Carolina School of Law and currently serves on the DC Bar's 5-member Litigation Steering Committee. In that role, Savian leads the initiative to research and write public statements and Amicus Briefs to the United States Supreme Court on matters of significant moral and public concern. Finally, Savian chairs the Federal Courts Committee and the Litigation Publications committee.

When not practicing law, Savian enjoys serving his community, traveling, and hiking with his dog.
