First thing first: Don’t freak out. Here’s what you should know. Arbitration is very similar to litigation.  However, unlike in litigation, arbitration tends to promote respect amongst the parties, is usually less expensive than litigation, and is sometimes a more efficient dispute resolution forum. Although there are several benefits to Arbitration, there are several noteworthy drawbacks. The most crucial being that this particular forum allows parties with greater sophistication and plentiful resources to exploit less sophisticated parties.
